Zorya (DU80)

The Zorya DU80 is a high-performance engine developed by Zorya-Mashproekt, a Ukrainian company specializing in marine and industrial power solutions. Renowned for its reliability, efficiency, and adaptability, this gas turbine is widely employed in both naval and industrial applications. Depending on the model, its power output ranges from 7 MW to over 100 MW, and it is engineered to operate on multiple fuel types, including natural gas and liquid fuels.

The Zorya DU80 is a three-shaft gas turbine with a power output between 26 MW and 27 MW. It consists of a two-spool gas generator, a four-stage axial free power turbine, an 18-stage axial-flow compressor (9 low-pressure compressor (LPC) stages and 9 high-pressure compressor (HPC) stages), three stages of variable inlet guide vanes (IGV) with a pressure ratio of 21, a reverse-flow can-annular combustion system featuring 16 combustion liners, a gas generator turbine with single-stage HPT and LPT, and a power turbine operating at speeds between 3,600 to 4,850 rpm, with left-hand rotation.
